Rite-Way Packaging was established in 1994 as a distributor of custom manufactured industrial bags. Recognizing the needs of our agricultural and industrial clients, Rite-Way’s product line quickly expanded to offer a full array of palletizing and bagging materials such as FIBCs (mini bulk bags), sewing twine and crepe tape, corrugated and linerboard pallet cover sheets, and plastic stretch wrap.
Rite-Way Packaging has been a part of Alberta’s growth for 30+ years. Initially established to service the agriculture sector, the company has constantly evolved to meet the needs of the province’s diverse industries. Today Rite-Way’s products are used across North America and in every industry including food and beverage, chemical and hazardous goods, pet care, construction, medical and pharmaceutical, and more.

Rite-Way is also a one-stop shop where clients can have customized designs brought to life, and where owners and brothers Craig Rosenberg, general manager and James Rosenberg, business development manager, innovate and invest in sustainable packaging materials and equipment.
The brothers joined the company shortly after it was purchased by their father, Ed Rosenberg. Ed’s 30+ years in the animal nutrition industry gave him invaluable insight into the needs of the agriculture sector when it came to packaging solutions. Craig and James, who had successful careers and international work experience, saw a chance to expand on the brand by branching out into other industries and refining the sustainability of the products. Together they took the already very successful brand to new heights.
It soon became apparent that the leading packaging equipment manufacturers were out of touch with our customers, so with our extensive experience with industrial packaging systems and materials Rite-Way began to supply and service packaging equipment and parts from established domestic and American manufacturers. Beginning with bagging scales, conveyors, industrial sewing machines, plastic bag heat sealers, stretch wrappers, and eventually evolving to offer a full range of automated equipment such as form, fill and seal systems (FFS) and robotic palletizers, we now effectively supply high quality equipment along with our system optimization and project management services across many sectors for packaging dry goods, powders, liquids, aggregates, and more.
In 2007, Rite-Way Packaging Supplies & Services was acquired by Ed Rosenberg. Ed’s 34 years in the animal nutrition industry provides him with a broad base of knowledge and insight into customer’s needs with regards to bagging equipment and packaging solutions. The company is now operated as a family business with Ed’s sons taking up the challenge of providing flexible packaging solutions to the next generation with sustainability and innovation as mutually shared values.
Today we have an extensive network of domestic and international suppliers from the United States, India, China, Korea, Japan, Brazil, Italy, Germany the UK and Vietnam. This enables our Flexible Packaging Division to offer an impressive line of products and customized packaging solutions to meet any budget or specification.
